If you went to college 30, 40 or 50 years ago things have changed dramatically  

College tuition costs have skyrocketed.  In 2024-2025 the average cost of tuition and fees at a Michigan community college was over $6,800. For a four year college or university the cost was over $13,000. Trade School is expensive too, with an average cost over $16,800. Add to that the cost of books and living expenses and it's not surprising that the average college graduate has over $30,000 in loan debt.

We can't erase that debt for Northport graduates but we can help.   Each Northport graduate has the opportunity for a scholarship of up to $2,500 a year for four years, but this is only possible through the generosity of many people like you!
