Thanks to You for 17 Years Students Have Headed to College Supported by The Northport Promise! 

They said it couldn’t be done but Northport again has proven the naysayers wrong! Since the founding of the Northport Promise in 2007 and the awarding of the first scholarships in 2008, generous donors like you have made it possible to award scholarships of nearly $435,000 in 16 years and we’ll be awarding more this spring! To date 98 students got a boost in paying their college bills. This is an amazing result and we couldn’t be prouder of or more grateful for the support we’ve received.

To get started fundraising the Northport Promise volunteers focused on every way possible to earn money; the Promise Pledge picnics, annual scholarship opens, bake sales at the Farmer’s Market, special dinners, our wonderful reinstitution of a Northport tradition - the Follies and generous donations from dedicated community members and school supporters.
